CONTEXT

Administrative/Biographical history:

The church of Saint Matthew originated in a mission to the South Fulham area which was established in 1884. A permanent church was constructed in 1895, on the corner of Rosebury Road and Wandsworth Bridge Road. This church was rebuilt in 1998.

Records of the parish of Saint Matthew, Fulham, including registers of baptisms, marriages, banns of marriage, confirmations and church services; Parochial Church Council minutes; and registers of baptisms and services for the mission church of Saint Michael, Townmead Road.
