This manuscript has been described in Louis Augustus Triebel's The Comedy of the Crocodile (Eine lustige Comedj von den Crocodil-stechen zu Nürmberg) as preserved in various manuscripts. A critical and historical introduction together with the text of the play (Humphrey Milford, London, 1925; also published by Oxford University Press, 1925), which includes a text of the play based on the Nürnberg manuscript (Nor. H. 703), comparing it with manuscripts at University College London, Munich, and elsewhere.
