Scope and content/abstract:

Two fragments of a medieval Dutch manuscript, subsequently used to re-inforce a binding, and containing part of a treatise on the Mass. The manuscript dates from the 14th century and is written in Flemish.

Physical characteristics:

The first fragment contains 14 ruled lines and is 3¼" x ¾"; the second is 12 lines long and is 2½" x ¾". They are both written in two columns on vellum, with red capitals.
