Scope and content/abstract:
Manuscript volume containing a treatise by Johs Frédéric Schrader, [1820], entitled 'De la Police en Général, ou, Coup d'oeil rapide sur les différens systèmes des principales Nations de l'Europe', describing the efficiency of the police in the main European countries. The title maintains that Schrader wrote the treatise for the King of England (George III or IV). Schrader is also said to be the author of a work entitled 'Considérations politiques dans l'Etat de Allemagne en 1808'.
