Administrative/Biographical history:
Easdale spent her adult life on the margins of the London literary and musical scene. She wrote about her life in an autobiography, Middle Age, 1885-1932, published in 1935, first anonymously and then under the surname of Killin.

Scope and content/abstract:
6 notebooks containing journals kept by Gladys Ellen Easdale from 1930-1934. The journals describe family, country life and the musical and literary circles in which she moved.

Access to this collection is unrestricted for the purpose of private study and personal research within the supervised environment and restrictions of the Library's Palaeography Room.
