Administrative/Biographical history:
The Penton Hall Methodist Church was opened on Penton Street by Wesleyan Methodists in 1866. In 1872 the congregation moved to Twyford Street and renamed the church Twyford Hall Methodist Church. Both churches belonged to the Islington Circuit. The church was closed in 1890.
